ClauseIQ is built with privacy at its core. Your contracts are confidential, and we have designed our system to keep them that way.
What We DO NOT Collect
- Raw contract text — Never stored on our servers
- Personal names — Stripped before processing
- Financial details — Dollar amounts are anonymized
- Contact information — Emails and phones are removed
What We DO Collect
- Anonymized clause features — For benchmark comparisons
- Usage statistics — Analysis count, feature usage
- Account information — Email for login (if registered)
- Payment data — Processed by Stripe (we do not store cards)
Privacy Protection Technology
Client-Side PII Stripping
Before any data leaves your browser, our extension automatically detects and removes personally identifiable information.
Differential Privacy
We use ε=0.1 Laplacian noise and k-anonymity (min 50 samples) to ensure no individual contract can be identified in benchmarks.
No Contract Storage
Analysis happens in real-time. We do not store your contract text.
